Preheat the oven to 320ºF.

First, beat the egg whites with the cream of tartar.

When the whites are foamy, add half a cup of sieved icing sugar.

Next, add the flour and sugar. Incorporate the vanilla extract and oil, and mix well.

Spread the mixture in a greased mold.

Bake at 320ºF for 30-35 minutes.

Leave to cool and decorate by sprinkling icing sugar on top.
