Peel the prawns, put them in a bowl and wash them to remove any impurities. Dry with kitchen paper and set aside.

Heat the oil in an earthenware casserole dish. If you do not have one, use a casserole dish or frying pan.

When the oil is hot, add the garlic and chilies. Once the garlic is golden, remove them to add it again at the end of preparation.

Next, add the prawns and season with salt. Add the garlic and chilies, mixing the flavors. This will allow the garlic to be properly cooked, hydrated by some of the liquid released by the prawns.

Serve immediately when the prawns are cooked, juicy and with a delicious hint of spiciness.
