Oil the slices of bread and heat on a grill with the oiled side down.

Prepare the Russian dressing, mixing all the ingredients in a blender.

Assemble the sandwich in the pan. To do so, spread a tablespoon of the Russian dressing on the dry side of the bread. Next, add a tablespoon of sauerkraut, cheese, sliced pickle, and finally the meat, closing the sandwich with another slice of bread with the dressing spread on it.

Flatten the sandwich a little, remove from the pan and serve with chips or salad.
