In a large bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm water. Add the sugar, salt, oil and half the flour. Beat until smooth.

Next, add the remaining flour until a soft dough is formed.

Knead for 10 minutes until soft and elastic.

Place the dough in a greased container. Cover and leave to rise in a warm place until it has doubled in size.

Divide the dough into pieces and shape the two breads. Cover again and leave to rest for 30 minutes.

Bake at 376°F for 30-35 minutes or until golden, and sounding hollow when tapped on the bottom.

Once cooled, cut into slices and serve with chunks of feta cheese and our homemade hummus, prepared as follows:

Blend the chickpeas, peeled garlic, salt and cumin. Next, add the lemon juice and olive oil.

Continue blending until obtaining a paste with a creamy texture.

Serve the hummus in bowls, adding pine nuts, walnuts or almonds, a dash of olive oil and paprika.
