Kitchen view1
Follow the instructions on the cake mix boxes and bake in two cake tins. Repeat to obtain the 4 layers of cake which will form our cake.
2
While the cakes are baking, boil the water. Place the cherry jello in one bowl and the raspberry jello in another. When the water boils, add 1 cup to each bowl. Mix until the jello has dissolved.
3
Take the cakes out of the oven. Prick two of them with a toothpick several times. Gently add 1/2 a cup of the liquid jello over each of these layers, one with the red mixture and another with the blue mixture. Add more jello to give more color to the cakes.
4
Leave to cool for one hour.
5
Begin to assemble the cake, beginning with a white base, on which we will spread one large tablespoon of cream. Then place the red cake, with a layer of cream; the blue cake with a layer of cream; and a final layer of white cake.
6
Cover with the colored cream and decorate with toppings, with icing to imitate the flag of the USA.
7
Leave to cool for at least one hour.
